"The greatest pain one will ever know is the pain that touches the soul,
for the soul is immortal and can never be erased."
Judith Anne McDowell
Sacred Journey Mission is an open group that can be shared with anyone who has experienced any type of loss.
On their journey as bereaved parents, Beth, Debbie & Bobby have come to understand that the deepest pain one will ever know, is the deepest pain one will ever be exposed to.
One person may not have experienced the traumatic loss of another, but that doesn't mean we can't help each other along our journeys. Loss creates pain, which in turn creates grief. Managing the pain of any kind of loss and trauma can benefit from the same tools and approaches that are used in the bereaved parent community.
Loss of a spouse, or sibling, or any beloved...even our fur babies, will never be the same path of another who has experienced the exact loss. However the path to healing can be similar. The tools used can be transferable. The knowledge gained can be shared.
There are many deep and fulfilling life lessons that can rise from a group who are sharing loss together.
Indigenous elders and shaman have known this for centuries. Grief is communal. A healthier path to working through our pain and trauma from loss, is a path shared and supported by the community.
"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls;
the most massive characters are seared with scars."
