How we came to be...

Spirit guided, and inspired by our children-in-spirit, Sean, Jared and Mallory, Beth D’Angelo, Bobby Morton and Debbie Byron co-founded Healing Through Hope in early 2018.  

On February 1, 2018, we were inspired by Spirit to create a Facebook group that would be a gathering place for resources and information to connect those that have experienced the trauma of child loss.  Support Groups are nothing new on the social media platform, but we felt ours was unique.  Beth, Bobby and Debbie have a strong connection to Spirit and to our children.  Trust was being asked of us… and we trusted that the answers would appear.  We have kept this trust in the forefront at all times.

On September 4, 2018, Healing Through Hope formed a 501c3.  Navigating through this process should have taken us months if not years.  Spirit, with the aid of our children, gave us weeks to accomplish this endeavor.  Mind boggling and yet strong guidance to this unknown venture, again, we understood something amazing was falling into place.   

After over a year of planning, on  June 3, 2019 we launched an extension of Healing Through Hope that was named, “Sacred Journey Mission”.  In addition to our child loss outreach, Spirit had inspired us to include all those that have experienced grief and trauma through loss.  Our goal was to reach those who wanted to dig deeper in order to find meaning and understanding around what living inside our stories looks like, not only to the individual, but to humanity.  This enabled us to add "Series Circle Gatherings" that were not only inspirational, but educational on various topics that bring Hope to those that felt hopeless and/or helpless.  

Later that year Healing through Hope launched this website on November 11, 2019.  We chose this day specifically because the number 11 has significant meaning to so many people and it is certainly meaningful to us.  Our website offers all resources, a place to share photos of your loved ones, inspiring “printables”, read blogs of hope and healing and find other hopeful content.    

On February 1, 2022 (our 4th Anniversary), we consolidated all of our resources into one private space with a University atmosphere, was created called HEALING THROUGH HOPE U.  We also archived the Sacred Journey Mission public page and brought it into one space, unifying to all searching for Hope & Healing.  (Access our private Healing Through Hope U Facebook group here)    

We offer a sacred space for our Healing Through Hope ~ PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN SPIRIT.

Together we are finding ways to navigate life in spite of obstacles, challenges and roadblocks.  We are inspired to find hope on this life plane; to help you find a path to redefine U (you).   Welcome to our community.  Welcome to this place where we are finding meaning and creating a space where we can thrive within all the parts of our stories.  We welcome you to the belief that there is presence in absence, that love never is ceases to exist. We welcome you to join us in acknowledging a life that includes battle scars, losses, celebrations, triumphs and mess-ups.   

We offer a minimum of two (2) free online Zoom video meetings each month.
